What can I do in the PacketSky Customer Portal?

The PacketSky Customer Portal gives you one secure place to manage the most important parts of your PacketSky account.

You can use the Portal to:

  • View your account balance
  • Check unpaid invoices
  • View and download financial documents
  • Make an online payment
  • Generate an account statement
  • View your PacketSky services
  • Check whether a service is online
  • Review internet usage and bandwidth statistics
  • Read PacketSky messages and service notices
  • Create and update support tickets

Open the Portal at:

PacketSky Customer Portal

Your Portal dashboard

The Dashboard is the first page shown after you sign in.

It provides a quick overview of your account and may display:

  • Your current account balance
  • The total amount due
  • Upcoming or overdue payments
  • Unpaid invoices
  • Your active PacketSky services
  • Open support tickets
  • Live bandwidth usage (service dependent)

The information shown may differ depending on the services linked to your account.

Account balance and unpaid invoices

The Account balance section shows whether money is currently due on your account.

Where an amount is outstanding, you may also see:

  • The amount due
  • The payment due date
  • Whether the invoice is unpaid or overdue
  • A Pay by Netcash option

The Unpaid invoices section provides a quick view of outstanding financial documents.

From here, you may be able to:

  • View the invoice details
  • Open the invoice as a PDF
  • Download the invoice
  • Make an online payment

Select Show all financial documents to open the full Finance section.

My services

The My services section shows the internet services linked to your account.

Depending on the type of service, it may display:

  • The service type
  • Service description
  • Current status
  • Monthly price
  • Service start date

Common statuses include:

  • Online: The service is active and currently has an online session.
  • Active: The service is active and ready for use. This does not necessarily mean that the Portal can currently see an online session for the service.
  • Pending: The service has been created but has not yet reached its scheduled start date or completed activation.

Select a service or choose View details to see more information where available.

Live bandwidth usage

The live bandwidth graph shows the traffic currently passing through a supported PacketSky service.

You may be able to select:

  • The service you want to view
  • The time interval shown by the graph

The graph displays current upload and download activity.

This is a live-usage view and is not the same as an internet speed test. A low reading simply means that the connection was not transferring much data at that moment.

For historical usage information, open Statistics from the main menu.

Please note that not all networks allow us to provide you with a live usage view or usage statistics.

Statistics

The Statistics section allows you to review internet usage for a selected service and date range.

Depending on the service, you may see:

  • Daily data usage
  • Downloaded and uploaded data
  • Online sessions
  • Session start times
  • Assigned IP address
  • Connection duration
  • Usage graphs

These figures show data usage and connection information. They do not necessarily represent the maximum speed of your internet package.

My products

Open My products and select My services to view the services linked to your PacketSky account.

This is useful where an account has:

  • More than one fibre line
  • Multiple office or branch services
  • Backup connectivity
  • Services at different addresses

Select View details on a service to view the information made available for that connection.

Finance

The Finance section contains your PacketSky financial records.

You can use it to:

  • View invoices
  • View payments
  • View credit notes
  • Search for a financial document
  • Filter documents by type
  • Open invoice details
  • Download invoices
  • Generate an account statement
  • Make an online payment where available

The financial information displayed depends on the account and payment method.

Messages and News

The Messages section contains communications sent to your Portal account.

These may include:

  • Account notifications
  • Pricing notices
  • Planned maintenance information
  • Service-related updates
  • Important PacketSky announcements

The News section may also contain general PacketSky notices.

Check these sections periodically, particularly where a notification badge shows that unread items are available.

Tickets

The Tickets section is the recommended place to communicate with PacketSky about an account, service or technical issue.

You can use it to:

  • Create a support ticket
  • Select the type of query
  • Describe the problem
  • Attach photographs or supporting documents
  • View replies from PacketSky
  • Add further information
  • Check the ticket status
  • Reopen a closed ticket where appropriate

Keeping communication within the ticket helps ensure that the history, attachments and updates remain together.

The Portal menu

The main navigation menu appears on the left side of the Portal.

Your menu may include:

  • Dashboard
  • Statistics
  • My products
  • Finance
  • Messages
  • News
  • Tickets

The available options may differ slightly depending on your account and the services provided.
